- 1 / 5By Paul AndrewAccording to the website our new local pub closes at 12am. We arrived for a nightcap at 11.30pm to be greeted by a friendly barmaid. She asked what we'd like to drink. As she was serving us the new "gaffer" basically told us to leave as "we can't just expect to walk in and expect a drink at this time, I'm the gaffer and you need to go". Absolutely disgusting....my family have lived in this village for years and the Kings Head has always been a friendly, inviting local. Not anymore due to the egotistical new "gaffer".November 13, 2016
